"I normally carry my son on my back and am reaching for this carrier more and more, pretty much neglecting my other back carriers. *grin* My husband has tried it for a front carry and found it quite comfortable and last night, my mother carried Ibrahim around on her back for a bit in the chunei and was raving about the comfort and support! Thanks again! This is one awesome buckle pod!" Umm Ibrahim http://ummibrahim.blogspot.com/search/label/Chunei ummibrahim.wordpress.com/2007/09/02/chuneiing-for-the-dayti me-for-a-chunei-review/ |
"In the past month, pretty much the only carrier I use is my denim chunei (I have other carriers but I find the chunei really ideal for back carries and really have no need for anything else!)" - taken from www.mothering.com |
"I have reached babywearing nirvana. Today my 10 week old was fussy, he would cry every time I put him down. I was Normally I would push through the crying and all that, but this time I held him, grabbed my chunei put one arm in, wrapped it around and put the other arm in, he was very firmly in just like that, then I reached around and buckled it...voila! He was cuddled up to me as comfortably as can be and I soothed him to sleep in no time. I have to say I might like the chunei as much (or more) as my mei tai. The mei tai is adjustable on the fly, but it can be tricky to get it adjusted just right every time. I can wear him on my hip or back without taking him out and re-tying the carrier. He seems to like how it cuddles him all over like a hug." - taken from www.mothering.com www.mothering.com/discussions/showthread.php?p=9869683 |
"I tried every baby carrier you name it,, sling. baby bjorn. ergo..My shoulder start hurt and my heavy 20 pounds 9 month boy doesn't like it. My friend recommend Chunei so I tried,,Oh my god. so comfy and front and back carry took me weight spread through my body not only my shoulders..I can wear it up to 3-4 years. It's been around 10 years in korea already, but it's pretty new here. It's awsome and life saver for busy mommy!! Your hands are finally free!!" http://local.thenestbaby.com/ListingView.aspx?lid=526380&MsdVisit=1 |

Cheryl in SoCal COMFORT: 5 EASE: 5 QUALITY: 5 I own 2 of these carriers, need I say more -) Chuneis are my favorite carrier and I use them exclusively, I've sold or given away all my other carriers. The weight distribution of the chunei is amazing because it's a torso carry, it doesn't put all the baby's weight on your waist and shoulders like other carriers do. My only regret is that I didn't find this carrier earlier in my baby wearing days!! http://www.thebabywearer.com/cgi-bin/reviews/reviews2.pl?folder=chunei &category=softstructuredcarriers |
This is a wonderful product! Very well made and worth every penny. I was first impressed by the small size of the package it came in. I own a Bjorn on the bulky side with all the buckles, padding and such, This was packed very small. It easily tucks into the cute matching little bag it comes with... great for traveling. I loved the fabric. I ordered a denim one and my husband commented that it looked like part of my outfit! It fits like a snug seconds. The Bjorn and the sling have officially been retired to the closet. I will definitely tell all of my friends with babies. This is a great product! http://www.thebabywearer.com/cgi-bin/reviews/reviews2.pl?folder=chunei &category=softstructuredcarriers http://www.5minutesformom.com/6175/win-an-ihosa-chunei-baby-carrier/ |
